A good Riyadh Season visit starts with a choice: what would make this particular evening worthwhile? With entertainment zones, performances, restaurants and sporting events competing for attention, filling every hour is easy. Building an enjoyable plan takes a little more thought. This guide explains how to choose a destination, check what a ticket includes, find the official booking route and leave enough time for the people you are traveling with.
Information reviewed October 20, 2026. This guide covers Riyadh Season 2026–2027, rather than the edition that began in October 2025. Program information is based on the official sources linked below. Suggested itineraries and budgeting methods are SaudiWe editorial advice, which you can adapt to your own interests, schedule and travel needs.
When does Riyadh Season 2026 start?
The official Visit Saudi season page displays October 21, 2026, as the start date and March 1, 2027, as the end date. Those overall dates should not be read as the operating calendar for every attraction. Individual zones and events can open later, run for shorter periods or offer particular booking dates. Check the listing for the experience you actually intend to visit.
On October 19, the Saudi Press Agency reported the release of the seventh edition’s booklet. You can find its download link on the official Riyadh Season website. Read the year carefully when searching online: an older page, video or ticket screenshot may describe a different season even when its attractions have familiar names.
Choosing between Riyadh Season zones
The announced booklet includes Boulevard World, Boulevard City, Wonder Garden, VIA Riyadh, The Groves, Al Suwaidi Park, Riyadh Zoo, Aldirah Winter and Farmers Market. Instead of treating that list as a checklist to finish, choose a destination around your group’s main interest. The table below offers planning suggestions; it is not an official classification or a statement that every location opens on the same day.
| Destination | Suggested approach | Check before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Boulevard World | Build time around exploration, a cultural interest and food | The entry date and any separately ticketed experiences |
| Boulevard City | Anchor the evening around a chosen show or attraction | The exact venue and door-opening time |
| Wonder Garden | Balance rides with breaks instead of chasing every attraction | Age and height limits and ride charges |
| VIA Riyadh and The Groves | Plan a dining evening that suits your group | Venue access rules and restaurant reservation requirements |
| Al Suwaidi Park and Riyadh Zoo | Allow an unhurried family visit with time to observe | Operating hours, visitor rules and available reservations |
| Aldirah Winter and Farmers Market | Leave room for local products and heritage interests | Operating days and the program for your chosen date |
Boulevard World or Boulevard City?
Do not assume the similar names refer to one ticket or an interchangeable destination. The official announcement emphasizes cultures and experiences at Boulevard World, and shows, events and entertainment at Boulevard City. For planning purposes, start with World if exploration is your priority, or choose a specific City attraction if a performance is the reason for your trip. In either case, match the destination printed on the ticket to the location you select on your map.
Events and the importance of current dates
A program announcement and an available ticket are different things. Inclusion in a booklet does not establish that sales have opened, that seats remain or that an event runs on your travel dates. If one show is the main reason for your journey, verify its individual listing before organizing accommodation and transport around it. Leave other activities flexible until the central reservation is confirmed.
Tennis schedule update: Riyadh Season announced that Six Kings Slam, previously scheduled for October 21, 22 and 24, has moved to December 27–30, 2026. The Saudi Press Agency published the postponement announcement on October 14. Avoid using the earlier October dates when planning attendance, and consult the relevant official channels for instructions affecting an existing booking.
How to book Riyadh Season tickets
The official season website links to webook. Start there or open the platform directly, then search for the exact event or zone name. Screens and options can differ by booking type, device and language, so use the following sequence as a verification guide rather than a promise about particular button labels.
- Match the destination. Check the event name, city and venue against the official announcement.
- Choose an available date. Read the entry time or performance time carefully. A visible event page does not mean every date is on sale.
- Read the ticket inclusions. Check the category, quantity, children’s conditions and whether rides or other experiences require additional purchases.
- Complete the required account details. Use accurate information and an account you can access again to retrieve the confirmation.
- Review the final order. Check the currency, total payable, displayed fees and cancellation or amendment conditions before paying.
- Keep the confirmed booking accessible. Verify that it appears in your account and follow the platform’s instructions for presenting the ticket or entry code.
If no suitable date is available, check official updates rather than assuming a reseller can guarantee entry. The release may be pending, or your preferred session may have sold out. Keep ticket codes private when sharing your plans with friends; posting a complete booking image publicly can expose information intended for your own entry.
Ticket prices: budget for the whole evening
There is no single price in this guide that applies across the season. Use the amount displayed for your selected date and category, and compare what is included. A free-entry announcement or promotional offer does not automatically cover rides, food, parking or every visitor category. It also does not establish that reservations are unnecessary.
Divide your budget into four parts: admission, additional experiences, meals and transport. Decide which experience matters most and give it priority, then set a limit for optional purchases. Groups should discuss this before departure. Multiplying one advertised headline price by the number of people may miss different age categories, separate activities or a shared transport cost.
A useful comparison asks what the group will enjoy for the total amount spent. A less expensive ticket can still lead to a costly evening if most desired activities are additional. Conversely, a carefully chosen main experience and a relaxed meal can be more satisfying than several rushed bookings. Compare complete plans rather than isolated ticket prices.
A workable itinerary for one evening or two days
One evening in Riyadh
Choose one main zone and one confirmed experience, leaving food and general exploration flexible. Put the least flexible appointment first: a performance with a fixed entry time should determine the rest of the plan. Avoid closely spaced reservations at different venues. Driving time on a map does not include parking, walking to the right gate, checks at entry or finding your seat.
A short weekend visit
Use the first day for exploration and the second for a different kind of attraction or a booked performance. This gives the trip variety without requiring constant movement. Secure the reservations you need before choosing accommodation around the actual route. A hotel convenient for one zone may be less convenient for another, so compare the whole itinerary rather than the distance to a single landmark.
Leave one part of the second day open. Children may need more rest than expected, a favorite activity may deserve extra time, or a schedule may change. A flexible interval lets you respond without losing another prepaid booking. The aim is a trip you can enjoy at a comfortable pace, not a record of the largest number of locations visited.
Visiting with children, older relatives or accessibility needs
Read age and height requirements before buying an attraction ticket. Promotional images cannot tell you whether a particular child can participate or whether an accompanying adult needs a separate ticket. Where a stroller, wheelchair or step-free route is essential, ask the organizer about the specific experience in advance. Accessibility arrangements should be checked for each venue rather than assumed across the season.
Plan breaks for food and sitting down, and agree on a clear meeting point. Keep a charged phone available for tickets, maps and communication. Comfortable footwear helps when a visit involves walking, while the day’s actual forecast should guide clothing and outdoor plans. Shorter, well-timed visits often work better for mixed-age groups than a long evening with no opportunity to pause.
Transport, parking and the journey home
Use the location linked from the event listing, including its specified gate or drop-off point when available. If using public transport, check the full route and any final walk or connecting journey, as well as the return service. A station in the same district is not proof of direct access to the entrance.
Drivers should read the venue’s parking instructions and record where the car is parked. Allow a margin before a timed event and agree on a meeting point after it. If your wider Saudi journey also includes Makkah, our guide to the official Haram interactive map and Mataf and Sa’i crowd information explains a separate planning resource for that part of the trip.
Frequently asked questions
Does a zone ticket include every attraction?
Not necessarily. Read the booking’s inclusions. Shows, rides and restaurant reservations may be separate from general admission.
Can I arrive without a reservation?
Follow the rules for your chosen zone and date. Another visitor’s experience on a previous evening does not confirm the current admission requirements or available capacity.
Where should I check for changes?
Use the official season website, the individual booking page and notifications in the account used to purchase your tickets. Keep a simple alternative plan and prioritize the experiences your group actually wants. A successful season visit leaves room to enjoy the evening rather than spending it racing between reservations.
